The World Imagining Game is a place to invent virtual worlds.

The Game will ask you a series of questions based on the creation and lifecycle of a virtual world. As the Architect, you will decide who your world is for, how it functions, how it is funded, and how it sustains itself. Within these parameters, your world can be anything at all.

As you answer the questions, a visual rendering of your world will be automatically generated. Rather than being a player, as the Architect you will be asked to consider the politics and possibilities embedded in its construction. This rendering is unique to your answers, and selected renders will be printed and displayed throughout the exhibition 'Between Worlds' at The Photographers' Gallery, 23 June - 24 September 2023.
