These are the first lines of the last post of Lucy Suchman’s blog Robot Futures. Suchman is a much celebrated anthropologist who studies the development of technologies, in particular the area of Artificial Intelligence and robotics, with a feminist perspective. The postings on the blog have been written between 2012 and 2014 and cover the relationships of robotics with the military, daily life, labor and automation, armed robots and autonomous technologies.
